Need to get my hands dirty working with the lirc for my linux mce remote setup. Got any info? I could use it. Mine’s a Rosewill RC6 mce remote.

So I bought a new MCE remote tonight. Was hoping that it also wouldn’t work so that I knew the problem was with my config files… But it works just like it should. Minus the obvious buttons that aren’t mapped for XBMC by default. One problem that I face is that I think XBMC is taking two actions per remote key pressed. One being recognized…[Read more]

probably the config file which reads the remote signals has been set to value of 2, my guess is go check the file that reads the signals!
